Steve has been involved in his community and public service throughout his adult life. He believes in giving back to the community where he lives. He has been a leader in planning for Towson's future, assisting neighborhoods, addressing the need for open space, providing needed school improvements, services to seniors, and the involvement of citizens in government decisions.
Now, as a Delegate from Baltimore County’s 42nd District, Steve is serving the people and businesses of Towson, Timonium, Lutherville, Loch Raven/Oakleigh and Smith-Greenspring. He is a member of the Environmental Matters Committee and has become a respected leader on land use and Chesapeake Bay related issues. He has been recognized as a 2009 Legislative Champion by the Chesapeake Bay Foundation. He has also been a leader on housing and local, community issues, earning him praise from the Maryland Municipal League, teachers, environmental advocates and community leaders. |
